Here is a chance to meet

Ok, Bali wouldn't be my first choice, but I was overruled, and they are right. Bali is easy to travel to, and fairly cheap. Their are no smoking bans, cigarettes cost a dollar a packet, beer costs 1.20 a bottle and accommodation starts at around $25 a night. It is central to other Asian Pacific countries, with resonably cheap flights from Europe and the US. July is post monsoon, and propably the dryest period, but it will still be warm (always is)

We are trying to attract a sponsor to help with costs of the conference centre, but we will go ahead even if one isn't found.
In true Aussie tradition, nothing much will happen before midday, and we hope to run 5 half day sessions followed by some post meet tours.

Please contact us if you are interested in attending, and we hope to negotiate some special flight rates from Australia, EU and US.

Cheers

I hope Bali is a good start. I wish I could go. Apart from being broke, scared shitless of planes and being stuck in a metal tube a few thousand feet off the ground without a smoke and not being allowed to get drunk, eating dreadful food and given change in the form of peanuts, Ive heard terrible things about Bali Belly, or Schapelle Corby, samo samo.
